Ysleta ISD is proud to offer STOP THE BLEED training to all 7th through 12th grade students, equipping them with critical life-saving skills. This program empowers students to act confidently in emergencies by teaching techniques such as how to apply pressure, use gauze, and apply a tourniquet to control bleeding before professional help arrives.
As part of our commitment to student safety, we are providing these free classes across various Ysleta ISD campuses. STOP THE BLEED is an approved program under the Texas Education Code (TEC), §38.030, and helps ensure our students are prepared to respond effectively in an emergency.
